MWFA President Ray Fanning Flicks the switch
Sadly footballing activities were reduced due to the
wet pitches, but the evening went well and thanks to
everyone who came down especially our guests
from Sydney FC, the MWFA and the Council.
A great speech by David thanking everyone who
contributed, but we all know he did much more
than anyone else. Well done, David.
Also, well done to Oliver Davies from the Under 10s,
for promoting the
Club on Football Stars of Tomorrow.
We look forward to the screening in June.

Set to commence in June 2010, this unique grassroots program will be
broadcast in prime time on the TEN Network’s dedicated sports channel.
Football Stars of Tomorrow recently received its second successive
NSW Sport Federation Media Award for the promotion of the sport and
will continue to showcase the array of footballing talent across Australia.

However we still require players for
Under 16 Mixed and U16 Girls team.
We also need goalkeepers for both Ladies All Age teams.

2010 Coaches and Managers Code of Conduct
(Must be signed by all Coaches & Managers and
returned to your Coordinator before the season starts).
Also 2010 Working with Children Form
must be signed and returned by Coaches, Managers
AND ANYONE ELSE who may help out in any way
with under 18s (If in doubt, sign it!)
Also 2010 MWFA Application to Play
must be signed and returned by players U12
and above who didn't play for an MWFA Club in 2009
Say a Big Thankyou to David Lavings !
The Club are delighted to announce that the Council have approved lighting installation and partial funding for the Abbott Road senior pitches and surrounds. Between the Club, the Council and the MWFA, we have sufficient funds to proceed with this project.
None of this would have happened without the extraordinary efforts of our Vice-President, David Lavings.
For those of you who may not be aware, David has worked relentlessly to try and achieve lights for our Abbott Road grounds. It has literally been a monumentual effort on his part, for which the club, its members and the local community should be extremely grateful.
Anyone who has attempted to train after dusk at Abbott Road will know what a huge boost this is for us.
